Practicals, a continuation

So, now I have been doing my practicals for 3 days. Other than the waiting for the nurses to order us to help out part which was plain boring. The part where I actually get to do some work was actually quite fun.
For example yesterday, I went to get new bottles of isotonic solution from the hospital pharmacy in which I saw that the hospital actually produces some of its medicines and isotonic solutions. It was so cool.
Today, when I finally gather my courage to ask the nurse if I could overlook while she was giving patients their daily jabs, I was astonished that she said that it is fine and did not scold me (as most Russians do not like us foreign students to follow them) I got to follow her into the ward and observe her giving an intravascular injection and was lucky enough to see the training doctor giving another patient a drainage of the urethra (I was doing my practicals in the Urology Department)
I can't wait till they allow us to do more medical procedure and less of the stuff like folding bandages and gauze napkins. I really find treating patients a very interesting job.
Also, I am looking forward to Monday night as me and my housemates are changing our internet service to another provider which is cheaper. I am currently paying Rub 380 a month for unlimited access of 1Mbps while the new provider is charging at rub 350 monthly also for unlimited access but at the speed of 2Mbps. Hope everything will be done and I can get faster internet access soon. (not that I really need it though.)
