Practicals and Cooking

Yesterday, me and my groupmates went to the hospital to meet up with the teacher in charge of our winter practicals. We were asked to gather in the hospital at 10am and we had to wait for the teacher till 11am before finally seeing him walking down the corridor towards us. Talk about being punctual.
We thought that meeting up meant the end of the practicals and we had the rest of the time as our holidays before our semester started, but we were wrong. The motive our teacher rounded us up for a meeting was to know how we were doing in the practicals, if we had any troubles in communicating with the medical teams and others.
Today, I had my first try on cooking risotto. I used some bacon, mushrooms and red pepper, mixed it up fried it with some butter, dumped the rice in. Let it simmer for a while before adding in the cream and milk, then left it to cook.
The results were beyond my expectations, I took a small bowl and let one of my housemates taste it. She told me it was very delicious(yummy was exactly what she said) I myself was also astonished at the outcome.
Below this post, I will be updating on the trip I had in Italy. Enjoy.
